Arshad Nadeem, Pakistanās celebrated Olympic and Asian champion, is scheduled to land at Lahoreās Allama Iqbal International Airport at 10:20 PM tonight. This marks his return after securing a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships 2025 held in Gumi, South Korea.

Competing in his first international event since the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nadeem achieved a remarkable 86.40-meter throw, clinching the top spot in the menās javelin final. His performance outpaced Indiaās Sachin Yadav (85.16m) and Japanās Yuta Sakiyama (83.75m), both of whom recorded personal bests.
This victory is particularly significant as it marks Pakistanās first gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships in over 50 years, the last being in 1973.
